Harbouring the future of Broad Quay House
We’re retrofitting Broad Quay House into a sustainable and attractive office space.
We are revitalising Broad Quay House by retaining the building structure but replacing the brick walls with an attractive contemporary façade, improved public space in front of the building and space for a café.
The occupancy rate of the offices is low as it is outdated and energy inefficient. Transformation is needed to make the building more sustainable and attract major employers wanting high-quality office space in the centre of Bristol.
By retaining the building structure, we save carbon by reusing not replacing.

Sustainability is at the heart of Broad Quay House
Our plans have been chosen to be part of the new UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standards.
In simple terms, this means that we will help to set a standard for how buildings can achieve net zero carbon emissions and reduce their environmental impact.
How we are focusing on sustainability:
Use of renewable energy sources
Sustainable, high performing building materials and construction methods
New planting to support biodiversity
Refurbishment of basement for new cycle parking and showers
